FAQ’s

When do groups have to book through WCU’s Summer Camps and Conferences Office?  Any group that is staying less than 6 nights must book through the WCU’s Summer Camps and Conferences Office or get approval from the WCU office that the person/group does not need to go through their office.  USH is permitted to book long term stays (7 or more consecutive nights) directly such as Internship Housing or Summer session housing.

How are WCU Groups handled that are not booked through WCU Camps and Conferences?  Students that are part of a WCU group (ex. Orientation leaders) will be handled as Interns but set up under a different charge group. Please refer to StarRez Summer Housing instructions.

Can a student live with USH over the summer if they are not enrolled in classes?   Students must register in summer classes, be part of the promise program, or be employed by WCU/USH.  A WCU administrator must verify there is a legitimate need for the student to be on-campus. The email with approval from WCU should be uploaded into StarRez.
