University On-Campus Housing partners (WCU Traditional and USH Affiliated) are coordinating efforts to communicate information regarding closure of all Residence Halls and South Campus Apartments (Village, East Village, South Campus Apartments, College Arms) due to COVID-19.  We understand the various challenges associated with the recent decision and are devising a plan for students to move out of the Residence Halls and all Apartments (Village, East Village, South Campus Apartments, College Arms).

We ask for your patience while we work through the plan of action.  We ask that you not show up on campus unannounced.  A plan will be sent out shortly about how move out will happen.  Students will not be permitted to get anything from the Residence Halls or Apartments outside of the designated move-out plan.

If you are currently on campus for Spring Break living in the Apartments (Village, East Village, South Campus Apartments, College Arms), you must move out by Saturday, March 14 by 4pm, unless you are submitting an exception request. If you are not on campus, do not return until you receive the move-out plan.

We are aware that there may be some extenuating circumstances where the timely completion of academic requirements for the spring semester may require an exception to this directive, primarily for those students who live at a distance from the campus and are engaged in student teaching, clinical, or other experiential learning or for those who do not have permanent homes to return to or face other challenging home environments. In order to maintain CDC social distancing and potential quarantine protocols, these request for housing exceptions will be granted on a very limited basis.  In order to determine both need and eligibility, we ask students who believe they need an exception to complete the following survey by Friday, March 13th at 12pm:  Housing Exception Request

We will notify you of the outcome of your request as soon as possible.

We appreciate your patience as we work through this global event.
