Arrival To Campus

o Please Note: If you have no belongings to move in, please park at M Parking Lot (for Allegheny & Brandywine Hall) or Q Parking Lot (for Commonwealth Hall) and take the courtesy shuttle to your building.
o Residents of Allegheny Hall, Brandywine Hall, and Commonwealth Hall should arrive to the USH Staging Area (located in the New Street Parking Garage) by turning onto Price Street from High Street and following signage down Price Street to South New Street. You will then proceed to turn onto South New Street and follow signage to turn onto West Nields Street, where you will enter the New Street Parking Garage side entrance. Please utilize the map available on this page

o You are not permitted to store any items on the top of your vehicles as the entrance to the garage is only 7 feet high.

o Each vehicle should have an approved USH hangtag that was provided to them at Drop and Go. This will allow you entrance into the Staging Area. Only vehicles that have the approved hangtag will be permitted to proceed to the Unloading Zones. There is a limit of two (2) hang tags per resident. Extra hangtags will be available on-site should you forget to bring it to campus.
o Cars will be lined up according to their community in the parking garage. Please follow the signage and directions for your assigned community, displaying the hangtag(s) provided to you during The Drop and Go Program.
o Once USH has verified that your rent has been paid and all leasing documents have been completed, a staff member will release vehicles out of the garage to enter the Unloading Zones. You will not be permitted to participate in Move-In Day without paying the semester rent in full or authorizing financial aid funds to be disbursed to USH via the MyWCU form.

Unloading Zone
o No vehicle in the Unloading Zone may be left unattended for any duration of time. A driver will need to remain with the car, with the keys in the ignition at all times. For this reason, the student cannot be the driver.
o Each party will be permitted ten (10) minutes to unload any belongings from their vehicle and exit the Unloading Zone. We understand that this is a brief period of time, but we have over 1500 students moving into the communities in one day. Our system is designed to accommodate everyone.

o USH staff and volunteers will be available to assist with unloading cars and ensuring that your belongings arrive to your suite. A limited number of carts will be available. USH strongly recommends all residents to label boxes and other belongings with the student name and room number.
o Vehicles are not permitted to drive anywhere except the designated drivable sidewalk surface. Please do not drive in the lawn areas or on any other unapproved surface.

Check-In
o While the vehicle is being unloaded, if the student participated in Drop and Go – they can head to their room since they already received their keys! If the student did not participate in Drop and Go, they will be directed to the Multipurpose Room of the assigned community to: check-in, receive keys, receive their Move-In Booklet, complete paperwork, and any other distributed information.
o You will not be permitted to participate in or Move-In Day without paying the semester rent in full or authorizing financial aid funds to be disbursed to USH via the MyWCU form.

Parking & Courtesy Shuttle Service
o After being dismissed from the Unloading Zone, you will be directed to park in a specific parking lot on campus.
o Residents of Allegheny Hall and Brandywine Hall are directed to park in M lot.
o Residents of Commonwealth Hall are directed to park in Q lot.
o A map and directions are provided to you on the reverse of your vehicle hang tag.
o USH will provide a courtesy shuttle service from each parking lot back to North Campus from 7:00 AM-6:00 PM.
o The shuttle to and from M lot (Allegheny Hall and Brandywine Hall) will run between M lot and Church Street (by the Septa and WCU bus stop in front of Hollinger Field House).
