USH Affiliated Housing offered students who had a previously completed lease agreement with USH and completed their housing intent form by the November 30, 2020 deadline indicating they wanted housing for 2021-2022 housing on January 13, 2021.
If you are not part of this group of students and would like to live with USH for 2021-2022 please apply on the USH waitlist. The waitlist will be available via the USH resident portal in the coming weeks.

I am a current WCU student, how do I apply for USH housing?
Housing for USH is currently being offered to students who had a previously completed lease agreement with USH and completed their housing intent form by the November 30, 2020 deadline indicating they wanted housing for 2021-2022.
Students with the housing offer emailed on January 13, 2020 must complete all parts of the leasing process by February 12, 2021 by 12:00PM. If the application is in process for over 30 days, the application will be cancelled, and the applicant will be notified via email.
Will I be required to pay a non-refundable, non-transferable application fee for the 2021-2022 lease term?
If you paid a deposit for 2020-2021 and did not live with USH at any time for the 2020-2021 academic year you will not be required to pay the $200 non-refundable, non-transferable application fee.
If you paid a deposit and did live with USH at any time during the 2020-20221 academic year you will be required to pay the $200 non-refundable, non-transferable application fee.
All applicants are required to submit a non-refundable and non-transferable $200 application fee at the time that the application is submitted. This fee is not a deposit and will not be returned to an applicant at any point. If a student applies and then decides that they are no longer interested in living with USH, this fee will not be returned.
Can I be guaranteed my roommate request?
If your desired roommate is not part of this prioritization group, they are not guaranteed to be offered housing. Listing another student as your desired roommate does not guarantee that student housing or give them the ability to apply. Further information will be forthcoming to current WCU students who are not included in this prioritization housing.
Roommate matching will occur later in the spring. USH will send an email with instructions on when and how to complete roommate matching. Please note; if you have desired roommates in mind, ensure you are each signing up for the same building and suite style.
Will I get the same room assignment for the 2021-2022 academic year?
We cannot guarantee that you will receive your previous housing assignment. However, once we assign rooms, we will offer a room change period prior to the start of the fall semester.
If I would like to switch my housing provider from USH to Traditional or vice versa, will that be permitted?
If you receive a housing offer from either USH or Traditional it only applies to the housing provider that has made the offer. If you wish to switch housing providers, you will be required to apply and follow all required steps. Please note housing is not guaranteed.
If I want to cancel my lease for 2021-2022 after completing the leasing process?
