University Student Housing, LLC (USH), a division of the WCU Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, manages six high-end communities located on the West Chester University (WCU) campus. USH operates four residence halls: Allegheny Hall, Brandywine Hall, Commonwealth, and University Hall. We also have two garden-style apartment communities, The Village and the East Village. Together, our six communities house almost 3,000 students.

LEASING MANAGER

University Student Housing, LLC is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic LEASING MANAGER.  This position is responsible for managing the leasing responsibilities, with a primary focus on lease document management, for a suite-style residence hall or garden-style apartment community located on the campus of West Chester University. The Leasing Manager is responsible for managing the daily leasing operations for the assigned community, including, but not limited to, document management, maintaining occupancy, marketing, implementation of campaigns to ensure a successful pre-lease, data entry, and ensuring compliance with fair housing laws. The successful candidate will be passionate, dependable, self-motivated and adaptable, while providing an outstanding customer service experience and thorough attention to detail. Candidate must thrive in a fast-paced environment alongside a results-driven team.

Requirements
• 2 years of experience in property management, preferably student housing

  • Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
    • Excellent team building and organizational skills
  • Strong written communication skills
    • Strong knowledge in Microsoft Office Programs (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
    • RealPage or other property management software experience is a plus

University Student Housing, LLC is now hiring for an enthusiastic, PART-TIME HOUSING ASSISTANT. We offer flexible hours to work around your class schedule, working approximately 15-17 hours per week during the school year and up to 30 hours per week over winter and summer break. And we have even better news: aside from a few special events during the year, you get every weekend off!                    

This is a year-round position. Housing Assistants are expected to work during winter break and the summer as these are busy times for our offices.  We are able to provide housing for you if needed over the summer break period.

As a Housing Assistant, you will:

  • Be knowledgeable about the essential operations of both the USH Leasing Center and USH Resident Accounts Office.
  • Provide a professional, positive and engaging experience for residents, parents, and guests.  You will be the first face they see as they walk into the Leasing Center and Resident Accounts Office.
  • Assist with leasing events, including but not limited to, Admissions Preview Days and Accepted Students Days, Orientation Events, and USH Signature Programming.
  • Enter data into our resident software system.
  • Communicate daily with our residents, future residents, and their parents via telephone, email, and in person visits.
