University Student Housing, LLC (USH), a division of the WCU Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, manages six high-end communities located on the West Chester University (WCU) campus. USH operates four residence halls: Allegheny Hall, Brandywine Hall, Commonwealth, and University Hall. We also have two garden-style apartment communities, The Village and the East Village. Together, our six communities house almost 3,000 students.

Full Time Openings

University Student Housing, LLC, a non-profit organization that manages on-campus housing for West Chester University, is seeking an experienced RESIDENT ACCOUNTS MANAGER for billing and collection of rent and fees in our student housing communities. This is a fast-paced, results-driven environment with a team-oriented atmosphere, working collaboratively to bill and collect rent for 3,000 residents each semester. The RESIDENT ACCOUNTS MANAGER is responsible for ensuring policies and procedures are consistently adhered to, communications are sent in a timely manner, data is entered accurately into the property management software and information is reconciled on a daily basis. Our Resident Accounts Managers are adaptable, dependable, self-motivated and passionate.


  • High school diploma
  • Experience working with financial data including accounting functions involving reconciliations.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate in a clear, effective and professional manner using poise, tact and diplomacy.
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Must have high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential information and situations.
  • High level of attention to detail.

Part Time Openings

University Student Housing, LLC is now hiring for an enthusiastic, PART-TIME HOUSING ASSISTANT. We offer flexible hours to work around your class schedule, working approximately 10 hours per week. And we have even better news: aside from a few special events during the year, you get every weekend off!

This is a year-round position. Housing Assistants are expected to work during winter break and the summer as these are busy times for our offices. We are able to provide housing for you if needed over the summer break period.

As a Housing Assistant, you will:

  • Be knowledgeable about the essential operations of both the USH Leasing Center and USH Resident Accounts Office.
  • Provide a professional, positive and engaging experience for residents, parents, and guests.
  • Enter data into our resident software system.
  • Assist with leasing events, including but not limited to, Admissions Preview Days and Accepted Students Days, Orientation Events, and USH Signature Programming.
  • Communicate daily with our residents, future residents, and their parents via telephone, email, and in person visits.
