University Student Housing, LLC (USH), a division of the WCU Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, manages six high-end communities located on the West Chester University (WCU) campus. USH operates four residence halls: Allegheny Hall, Brandywine Hall, Commonwealth, and University Hall. We also have two garden-style apartment communities, The Village and the East Village. Together, our six communities house almost 3,000 students.

COMMUNITY MANAGER

University Student Housing, LLC is seeking an experienced COMMUNITY MANAGER for a 264 bed garden-style, student housing apartment community located on the campus of West Chester University. The Community Manager is responsible for managing the daily operations of the community, including but not limited to overseeing personnel, front desk operations, resident retention and customer service, community maintenance, contracted services, administration and reporting, community safety and legal compliance.

Requirements

  • 3 years of supervisory experience in property management or equivalent combination of education and related experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Excellent team building and organizational skills
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Working knowledge in Microsoft Office Programs (Power Point, Word, Excel)
  • RealPage or other property management software experience is a plus
  • Must possess or be willing to obtain either the Accredited Residential Manager (Institute of Real Estate Management) or Certified Apartment Manager (Building Owners and Management Association) designation within one (1) year of hire
