University Student Housing, LLC (USH), a division of the WCU Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, manages six high-end communities located on the West Chester University (WCU) campus. USH operates four residence halls: Allegheny Hall, Brandywine Hall, Commonwealth, and University Hall. We also have two garden-style apartment communities, The Village and the East Village. Together, our six communities house almost 3,000 students.

University Student Housing, a non-profit organization that manages on-campus housing for West Chester University, is seeking an Associate for its Leasing Center.  Associates work together to lease over 3,000 beds every year.  The Associates’ primary focus is on thorough, accurate documentation and providing guidance to both students, as well as their parents or guardians, as they begin to acclimate to an exciting, yet stressful life changing event.  Our Associates are adaptable, dependable, self-motivated and passionate.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Providing exceptional customer service.
  • Meticulous processing of all lease documents (individual goals – 600-700 beds annually).
  • Roommate matching.
  • Data entry.
  • Answering questions regarding the housing properties.

Job Requirements/Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of working in a professional setting.
  • High level of interpersonal skills. Position requires demonstrated poise, tact and diplomacy.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Thorough attention to detail.
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and work independently.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs.
  • Leasing software experience a plus.
