USH operates four residence halls: Allegheny Hall, Brandywine Hall, Commonwealth, and University Hall. We also have two garden-style apartment communities, The Village and the East Village. Together, our six communities house almost 3,000 students.

RESIDENT ACCOUNTS MANAGER
University Student Housing, LLC, a non-profit organization that manages on-campus housing for West Chester University, is seeking an experienced RESIDENT ACCOUNTS MANAGER for billing and collection of rent and fees in our student housing communities. This is a fast-paced, results-driven environment with a team-oriented atmosphere, working collaboratively to bill and collect rent for 3,000 residents each semester. The RESIDENT ACCOUNTS MANAGER is responsible for ensuring policies and procedures are consistently adhered to, communications are sent in a timely manner, data is entered accurately into the property management software and information is reconciled on a daily basis. Our Resident Accounts Managers are adaptable, dependable, self-motivated and passionate.
Requirements
High school diploma

Experience working with financial data including accounting functions involving reconciliations.

Demonstrated ability to communicate in a clear, effective and professional manner using poise, tact and diplomacy.

Strong written communication skills

Must have high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential information and situations.

High level of attention to detail.

University Student Housing, LLC, a non-profit organization that manages on-campus housing for West Chester University, is seeking an experienced FACILITIES DIRECTOR. The Facilities Director is responsible for maintaining the integrity of the infrastructure of all USH properties including oversight of custodial and maintenance operations, landscaping, grounds, and all systems. The Facilities Director manages a safe and efficient working environment, essential to the performance of the business.
Essential Job Functions:
 Collaborates with West Chester University (WCU) facilities department and third-party vendors for the purpose of implementing and maintaining services for all USH properties including custodial operations, grounds and landscaping, and facility operations (i.e. HVAC, geothermal systems, fire alarm systems, etc).
 Plans, schedules, and supervises regular and preventative maintenance and repair of USH buildings and grounds.
 Oversees equipment and systems replacement or upgrades, including warranty management.
 Oversees inspections of all building systems.
 Develops processes, procedures and sets goals and priorities to ensure timely responses to completion of projects and/or work orders.
 Ensures building code compliance
 Ensures effective, constant communication with the USH leadership team regarding all maintenance projects and related safety concerns.
 Develops and monitors annual facility budget.
 Ensures compliance with local, state and federal regulatory requirements.
Job Requirements/Qualifications:
 Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Science, Electrical Engineering or related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience in skilled trades.
 Three (3) + years of supervisory experience.
 Five (5) + years of increasingly responsible experience in building maintenance and construction which involved facility planning, construction, maintenance and operations.
 Valid Driver’s License
 Ability to work outside of normal business hours to fit business needs.
 Specific certification in the area/industry of responsibility may be required.
Additional Qualifications
 Ability to perform multiple, highly complex, technical tasks with a need to periodically upgrade skills in order to meet changing job conditions.
 Ability to perform on-site inspections, alterations and repairs
 Knowledge of and adherence to safety practices
 Specific knowledge-based competencies and ability to operate equipment used in building trades
 Compose and understand technical documents
 Facilitate group discussions, analyze situations to define and draw conclusions
 Ability to schedule and manage multiple events and projects simultaneously
 Independent problem solving is required to analyze issues and create actions plans
 Meticulous attention to detail while always displaying tact and courtesy
 Ability to learn and fully utilize various computer software programs related to facilities management, as well as Microsoft Office Suite products
